In a sermon this summer our lead pastor spoke about our callings. One thing he said really hit me. He said that if we are trying to do something for God and doing so only requires you, i.e. one person, then it's not going to be very good. At that point I realized, for the first time, that if 25 Forty is going to be good or great, then we need you and many, many of you to participate.undefined undefined

We are asking you to do 3 things and you can do them in under 60 seconds!

1. Pray for 25 Forty. Short and sweet is just fine.

2. Share this website with your friends, Facebook works well.

3. Consider buying a t-shirt.

Christ is calling you to do something. Maybe His calling has been on your mind for years, maybe just a few days... maybe a decade or more.

So why aren't you following His call? Matthew 25:40 is all about His call. And do not think the call has to fit in the verse. He might be calling you to teach someone how to read or to teach a Sunday school class or to lead a bible study. None of those really fit in Matthew 25:40.

It's okay. If He is calling, follow. He might be calling you to do something that makes no sense to you, something you do not feel comfortable doing. Do it anyway, sometimes (often) He takes us down an unlikely road to get us where He wants us.

If He has put something on your mind, in your heart, in your soul... do it. Even as I type this and prepare the 25 Forty website I have doubts about what I am doing. I am a long, long, long, long, long, long, long way from perfect (all my friends just thought, "you can say that again.") and I have made way more than my share of mistakes... but I hear His call.

Whatever the first step you need to take to follow, do it. If you cannot do it right this minute, then do it as soon as you can. And, then take the next step, and the next, and the next. Don't let anything stop you.

Go.
