Charities

Initially all the money will go to Star of Hope Mission in Houston, Texas. Working with Star of Hope is part of how God gave us the idea for 25 Forty and SOH is truly dear to our hearts.

Let us stop here and say that if you would rather skip the t-shirt and donate your time or money to Star of Hope or a mission in your area, we strongly encourage you to do so. SOH has a list of urgent and ongoing needs on their website, click here to see the list.

As 25 Forty grows, so will our list of charitible organizations and outreach projects. You can see a list of possibilities under Charities. Here are some charitable organizations we might add:

Denver Rescue Mission - https://www.denverrescuemission.org/

Mission Statement: The Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need, with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.

Covenant House - http://www.covenanthouse.org/

Mision Statment: We who recognize God's providence and fidelity to His people are dedicated to living out His covenant among ourselves and those children we serve, with absolute respect and unconditional love. That commitment calls us to serve suffering children of the street, and to protect and safeguard all children. Just as Christ in His humanity is the visible sign of God's presence among His people, so our efforts together in the covenant community are a visible sign that effects the presence of God, working through the Holy Spirit among ourselves and our kids.

Living Water International - http://water.cc/

Living Water International exists to demonstrate the love of God by helping communities acquire desperately needed clean water, and to experience "living water"—the gospel of Jesus Christ—which alone satisfies the deepest thirst.

Compassion - http://www.compassion.com/

Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Today, Compassion helps more than 1 million children in 26 countries.

Union Rescue Mission - http://www.urm.org/
